today's word of the day is receipts. (really!)

i was reading a library book today when i found 3 receipts hidden in the book cover. the duedates were about one month away from each other and i thought it was seriously cool. i've read so many books that people accidentally left their receipts stuck between the pages and usually i just throw it away for them. this is the first time i saw that the receipts were purposely left behind.

i dont know why but i suddenly saw that it isnt impt to always be first. it's always harder to match up to what the first person has done. srsly, if i were the second person, i would have just thrown it away (again).

i think i might just add mine to the book cover.

gah. and then i realised for this whole week, i havent done anything substantial.

one. tried reading chem textbook. so i'm kind of done with acids and bases, neutralization and salts. but it took me one weeeek to read it all D: and smart me skipped all the exercises on ionic equations.

two. just played like hundred hours everyday. spent my whole non-textbook reading time on the com.

three. have been saying that i need to go to the library to read all my kiddish books but havent found the motivation to get out of the house yet

four. going to bed at twelve and sleeping at goodnessknowswhattime and waking up at nine or earlier is not ideal sleeping time.

I AM TOO BAD D:

and now i'm panicking.

like how in the world am i going to do well for chinese huh.

think i will randomly pick a topic to study for one week.

this week is my start on math week.

and then next week is my start on bio week.

was going to look at one zuowen everyday and yesterday was supposed to be the fourth day. except that i was doing stuff and only finished at like 11.30 then i was telling myself how i would read two tmrw afternoon and here i am thinking i will do it at night.

sheesh. and i was telling joan on wed about how she had no willpower+determination to not eat the popcorn.

as i was lying on the bed (i don't know why i just couldn't sleep) yesterday, i thought about things. like how we actually need the bad evil things to keep this world balanced. how would we know if something was bad unless someone really decides to do it?

i always thought that the world could be so much simpler if we were all just nice and considerate. we would be like robots living uneventful lives. no one would be grateful for all the good behaviour since there is no comparison, only the norm.

but i think now, with all the robberies and stuff, we can appreciate that hey, that lady just asked if i wanted the seat. and even though you prob will say no, you can have it, it still makes you feel good for at least a while.

class party started out not-so-nicely. maybe it's just me but movies (that aren't cartoons like cloudy with a chance of meatballs) are super yucks. when i went down with anne to get pizzas, we saw the macs guy take cab to rgs. haha and nobody came to collect so the guy just waited and the taxi driver waited too.

and then played BANG BANG YOU'RE DEAD. it's one of the best games ever. just screamscreamscream. even had showdown with joan where we both tied cos we're too good (:

before mr angulia came in, we switched off the lights and pretended to emo. then he said "am i supposed to watch you and wait till you're done!" can't wait to seee the video kai'en took of him and mr segarra playing BANG with us. haha i successfully killed mr segarra!

other highlight of the day was cheerleading(: some awesome person can do the moves for extra now (: and went to plazasing with rachel nadia and shanxi. i was stinky and sticky and could squeeze out the sweat from my blouse! spent the whole mrt ride with nadia talking rubbish!

FIFTEEN IS THE WINZ
i'm happy that i wasn't exactly playing the game today! and shooting was too awesome! srsly we just asked the thirteen to let us go first so that we can cheer for your class later! and yihui just boomboomboom and scored and we got FORTYFIVE total :D haha considering i'm such a lousy shooter, ITS AN ACHIEVEMENT ALREADY. (and it's third tooo! we're good)

best moment of the day was when vera just anyhow threw the ball from outside the D in the last five sec and IT REALLY WENT IN!

i reallytruly felt the OORAH spirit today (: just jumped and screamed! anne says screaming is a tactic to intimidate our opponents, haha it works! the first time she screamed, the person just dropped the ball and it rolled awaaaaay. its cool to have netballers in class, like they can just walk over and talk to their juniors or shout things like CONTACT and OBSTRUCTION. mr anguilia was like a coach too and i thought mr segarra and him were so cool to follow us everywhere and just cheer along. and even managed to convince the empire that it was our ball!

i wouldn't say that i love 315 a whole lot. but after the whole OORAH! thing, it's quite ironic too actually that OORAH is supposed to show off our class spirit but instead it built up mine. it's funny i thought the whole oorah thing was a clique thing so i never bothered. i think i might even go put oorah in the facebook thing today.

today was really fun and we showed the rest that though we didn't have alot of people in the sports ccas, we still won. they thought we were some lousy thing and didn't send their best. it was quite lucky for us too (: we'll prob not win again next year but then i won't forget today. not ever. oorah!

yesterday!

went to the tp library with the 112 bunch and they're really exciting people (:

haha who knew there were so many ways to sleep in the library and gee it's really hard to write backwards. and then there was the awesome competition where toothtong and i were drawing with out left hands. and some amazing person drew an ice cream cone and eventually turned it into mojo jojo's lab (:

and stealing fries is just TOO FUN.

because we were all too cool. we just had to walk through all the air-conditioned buildings and take the long way round just to get to the overhead bridge. and the only reason we went to the library earlier was also for the air-con! goes to show how much we appreciate the cool atmosphere!

reached the stadium early and saw the BEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD

yup. i missed twoeleven a whole lot (: and really i think no class would be better! and we started talking about our failed term1 group iceskating outing, and then the best teaparty outing at shao's and the bbq which was just too good!

we were all supposed to be timers. and i had this cool stopwatch number 17 which was the seat number i had when watching cloudy with a chance of meatballs. turned out that we had too many helpers so we had to return the stopwatches):

sabretooth said FLYING IGUANA when it was so obviously just a really big bird.

and then we being the extra helpers had to go to some miserable little corner at the far end of the track to make sure that people were not cheating. and since the world was not there to hear us, we started singing super loudly and off-tunely! i also had the funny feeling that people jogging aka the little kiddies and the veryveryvery old person was secretly spying on us. hee.

on the way home, jinghan was almost telepathic and reading my mind! we were just saying things at the same time(: made me realise how much i missed her rubbish.

today is double heartbreak day
when all the time and effort spent on something, just didn't work out. it stinks. and i dont care how close we were, didn't make it means didn't make it. i'm not so crazy to try again next year.

every night i went home, i was so drained, couldnt even do my notes. trainers were nice people and made time FLY but it still feels like i could have used this week better. srsly travelling wasnt fun either.

and OH the best. during pitching said, I'M ZHIQI. identity crisis. played the video for everyone to see somemore. then had this interview later on, and ruined the school reputation, i can see the school coming after me already. interviewer still said "never seen RGS girls like you" if this is going on tv, i might just faint.

its not fair that when i actually spend TWO hours, i still cant get it right.
its unfair that people who can last min study still pass.
and some genius can do veryvery well without studying at all.

i didnt choose to forget everything
i mixed up words, left so many blanks
and some of them i just saw it a min ago.

i reallytruly tried veryvery hard
i even flipped the dictionary for words i didnt know how to pronounce
i dont know what went wrong
even my green pen gave up on me.

then again three times is nothing compared to

i cant even listen properly in class while doing that

I really thought that I wouldn’t survive this week, so yupp I’m happy I did. Sleeping at 12.30 isn’t that bad, I can still stay awake in (boring) classes.

Yay and I’m superduper happy to have friends like joan who didn’t scold me even though I made her do extra work plus insisting on doing things the hard work plus a lot of effort way.

And liting too. For helping me do the sticker designs even though she could have just done some other thing like staring at the auto-something.

this morning, the first time I took my temperature it went up to 37.7 and I turned it off. I’m such a liar. But then I took again and it was 36.8 which made me happy (: I really don’t want to do stupid online lessons.

i have happy coincidences happening.
It always happens at the start of term 3.

Yesterday, while the whole big group of us were going home, tingfang wanted to sit down. At the next stop, the guy sitting right in front of her stood up and left the train. And I was like “it’s okay, it’ll be my turn next.” GUESS WHAT. The person next to her left at the next stop (: and guess who had a seat :D

Today, I was feeling very sad and panicking
And FLY WITH ME started playing on the radio. I’m even crazier about that song than insomnia! The next song that played was GIVES YOU HELL which super suited my mood and I like it too. It’s like my two current favourite songs one after another. How many times in your life do you actually get that?

For the third time in a row, liting and I had the same temperature (: seriously cool. The last one we had it differed by 0.1 degree Celsius ): maybe it was cos of the running up and down.

the coincidences don't really mean much alone.
i think they just make me feel super happy, that's why.

Haha I still remember the sec 1 wishing thing, that one was just freaky.

Walking in the rain makes me think about stuff.
Guess what. It drizzled today.

I think fear is a really weird thing. It can be for good like the fear of not doing well drives you to mug. Good encouragement is always better though. I remember how in lower primary, I was encouraging myself ( I talk to myself a lot) and then I became from 7th to 5th to finally 3rd in class (: Fear can do the same to you. Except that instead of feeling happy and satisfied that you’ve accomplished what you wanted, fear accumulates.

And I know fear made me do many stupid things. The determination for studying so hard this year was also kind of from fear. That’s when the stress began piling, I guess. This sounds funny but I’m gonna try to relax. I know I can’t sleep because I’m too tense thinking about things. WHICH IS STUPID. Because sleep is supposed to make you stop thinking about things. Yes.
